How to Request Deletion
- Open BabyNote and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile settings.
- Select account deletion.
- Read the confirmation messages and submit the request.
- After the request is submitted, the app signs you out.
What Happens After Submission
The app records a pending deletion request for the signed-in user. The request is then processed through an authorized server or support workflow with administrative permissions.
Data Covered by Deletion Review
The deletion review may include the Supabase authentication user, profile data, personal family memberships, baby records, diary content, and uploaded photos, depending on whether the data is personal, shared with other caregivers, required for support, or required for legal and security purposes.
Shared Family Spaces
If baby data is shared with other caregivers, deletion may remove your account access and personal identifiers while preserving shared records that remaining authorized caregivers can still access. The exact handling depends on the family sharing state at the time of processing.
Apple Hide My Email
If you use Apple Hide My Email, the email stored by the app may be an Apple private relay email. Deletion processing uses the internal authenticated user ID as the primary identifier rather than relying only on the visible email address.
Hidden Baby Profiles
Deleting or hiding a baby profile inside the app is separate from deleting your account. Hidden baby profiles may be retained for support recovery unless the account deletion workflow determines that associated data should be removed.
